Takdhin Kids is made for children aged 2 to 7. We built it on two promises: we never share, sell or advertise with your child's data, and your child's voice never leaves the phone. Our server never holds anything that identifies a child. What it does hold about play, and why, is in Learning statistics below: anonymous counts of lessons, rounds and time, under a random id the app makes for itself.
The only person who gives us information about themselves is the grown-up, knowingly, for their own account: a name and email from whichever sign-in they chose, and whether they are subscribed. The app also sends anonymous learning statistics, described below, that name nobody. That is the whole list.
What stays on the phone, always
These never reach us or anyone else:
- Your child's voice. Speech is turned into written words on the device and the audio is gone immediately. No recording is stored, uploaded or sent anywhere.
- What your child said. Spoken answers become written words on the phone and are gone. The app keeps a small learning record on the phone (which items are new, being learned or known, which became known this week, and how much was played each day for the last five weeks) so it can choose the next lesson and show a grown-up how it is going. No answer, transcript or recording is in it, and it is not on any server. What does reach our server about play is the anonymous statistics below.
- Your child's name or age, if the app ever asks for one.
- App settings, the last lesson, listening mode, and the downloaded speech model and narrator recordings.
- When the app was first opened, when its setup finished and when a first lesson finished, for the extra free days. Only the lengths of time between them are sent, and only once a grown-up signs in (see below).
What we collect from the grown-up

Our server logs record an account identifier and nothing else. No emails, no sign-in tokens, no request contents.
Learning statistics
From the app version of 16 October 2026, the app sends us anonymous statistics about play so we can see which lessons work, where children stop, and how well the app hears each word, and so the lessons can adapt to a child over time. This is what the law calls support for the internal operations of the app: we use it to run and improve Takdhin Kids and for nothing else. It is never used for advertising, never sold, never shared, and never used to build a profile of a child.

What is not in it: your child's name, voice or words; your name, email or account; the phone's identifiers; its location. The statistics are sent without your sign-in, so our server cannot connect what was played to who pays. We keep no IP address with them. Our server checks every event against a fixed list of allowed fields and refuses anything else, so a future version of the app cannot quietly send more than this page says. If the list ever grows, this page changes first.
If you write to us from the app
The grown-ups corner has a Tell us form. A note sent from it is not tied to your account, and it names nobody unless you type an email so we can reply. The form asks you not to include your child's name.

Because a note is not part of your account, deleting the account does not remove it. To have a note removed, write to takdhinkids@gmail.com and we will delete it by hand.
What we never do
- No advertising. No ads are shown in the app, ever.
- No third-party tracking. No advertising identifiers, no third-party analytics or crash reporters, no third-party tracking software of any kind. We do not read device identifiers such as the advertising ID, IMEI, MAC address or Wi-Fi network name. The iPhone's anonymous install report, described under Where installs come from, is part of iOS and carries no identifier.
- No selling, sharing or advertising. We never share, sell, rent or advertise with your child's data, or yours, and we give personal information to nobody for their own purposes.
- No behavioral profiling of children or grown-ups.
Children and COPPA
Takdhin Kids is designed for children under 13 and follows the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a child. The design makes this plain rather than a promise to trust: the parts of the app that involve an account, money or a link out of the app all sit behind a year-of-birth question asked every single time, and a child's screens never show money, accounts or links. The one thing the app sends about a child's play, the anonymous learning statistics, is collected under COPPA's exception for the internal operations of a service: it carries a random app id and no other personal information, supports analytics and the adaptive lessons, and is never used for advertising or profiling. Because it names nobody, there is no child data for a parent to review or delete; deleting the grown-up's account removes everything we hold about you, and gives the app a new random id.
Where installs come from (iPhone only)
We tell grown-ups about Takdhin Kids with ads on Facebook and Instagram. To know whether an install came from one of those ads, the iPhone app tells SKAdNetwork, a part of iOS, that it was opened. It does this once, the first time the app is opened. If the app was installed from one of our ads, the iPhone itself later sends Meta a delayed report saying so.
The report has no name, no email, no advertising or device identifier, and nothing about your child or what they do in the app. It never reaches us. The Android app sends nothing like it.
Who else is involved
- Google, Apple or Microsoft handle the grown-up's sign-in, and see that sign-in under their own privacy policies. We receive only the account identifier and, if the provider supplies it, a name and email.
- Apple and Google process a subscription bought in their app stores. We ask them to confirm a purchase; we never see a payment card or billing details.
- Stripe processes a subscription bought on this website (takdhinkids.com/account) and holds the card, the billing email and the invoices under its own privacy policy. We ask Stripe to confirm a purchase; we never see the card.
- Amazon Web Services hosts our server, in the United States.
- Meta receives the anonymous install report described under Where installs come from, only for an iPhone install that came from one of our ads.
- Nobody else.
Deleting everything
Open the grown-ups corner in the app and choose Delete my account. This erases your profile, your entitlement record, your sign-in link and your store link from our server, and cancels a subscription bought on this website. The app also takes a new random id for its learning statistics, so nothing sent before is connected to anything after. It cannot be undone. Canceling a subscription bought in a store is done through the App Store or Google Play, whichever you bought it from. Security
Your sign-in session is held in the phone's keychain or keystore; on this website it lives in the browser tab and is gone when the tab closes — we set no cookies. Traffic to our server is encrypted in transit. Access to the server is limited to the people who run Takdhin Kids.
Where your information is held
Our server runs in the United States. If you use the app from elsewhere, your grown-up account information is processed there.
Changes to this policy
We do not collect personal information from or about your child, and your child's voice never leaves the phone. From a grown-up, we keep only what you give us for your own account, as described above. Still, we want you to know if anything on our side changes. If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top, and before a significant change takes effect we will take reasonable steps to let grown-ups know, for example by email to the address on their account or a notice in the app.
