Privacy Policy

Takdhin Kids is made for children aged 2 to 7. We built it so that nothing about a child ever leaves the phone, and our server never learns anything about a child at all.
The only person who gives us information is the grown-up, knowingly, for their own account: a name and email from whichever sign-in they chose, and whether they are subscribed. That is the whole list.
What stays on the phone, always
These never reach us or anyone else:
- Your child's voice. Speech is turned into words on the device and the audio is gone immediately. No recording is stored, uploaded or sent anywhere.
- What your child said, answered or scored. Scores exist only for the length of a lesson and are then discarded. There is no progress history on any server.
- Your child's name or age, if the app ever asks for one.
- App settings, the last lesson, listening mode, and the downloaded speech model and narrator recordings.
What we collect from the grown-up

Our server logs record an account identifier and nothing else. No emails, no sign-in tokens, no request contents.
What we never do
- No advertising. No ads are shown in the app, ever.
- No tracking. No analytics, no advertising identifiers, no crash reporters, no third-party tracking software of any kind. We do not read device identifiers such as the advertising ID, IMEI, MAC address or Wi-Fi network name.
- No selling or sharing. We do not sell, rent or share personal information with anyone for their own purposes.
- No behavioural profiling of children or grown-ups.
Children and COPPA
Takdhin Kids is designed for children under 13 and follows the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a child. The design makes this straightforward rather than a promise to trust: the parts of the app that involve an account, money or a link out of the app all sit behind a year-of-birth question asked every single time, and a child's screens never show money, accounts or links. Because we collect nothing from children, there is no child data for a parent to review or delete; deleting the grown-up's account removes everything we hold.
Who else is involved
- Google, Apple or Microsoft handle the grown-up's sign-in, and see that sign-in under their own privacy policies. We receive only the account identifier and, if the provider supplies it, a name and email.
- Apple and Google process any subscription through their app stores. We ask them to confirm a purchase; we never see a payment card or billing details.
- Amazon Web Services hosts our server, in the United States.
- Nobody else.
Deleting everything
Open the grown-ups corner in the app and choose Delete my account. This erases your profile, your entitlement record, your sign-in link and your store link from our server. It cannot be undone. Cancelling a subscription is done through the App Store or Google Play, whichever you bought it from.
Security
Your sign-in session is held in the phone's keychain or keystore. Traffic to our server is encrypted in transit. Access to the server is limited to the people who run Takdhin Kids.
Where your information is held
Our server runs in the United States. If you use the app from elsewhere, your grown-up account information is processed there.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes in a way that affects what we collect, we will update the date at the top and, where the change is significant, say so in the app before it takes effect.
