Delete your account
Takdhin Kids, by G-Productions, LLC · Last updated 17 September 2026
You can delete your Takdhin Kids account yourself, in the app, in about ten seconds. If you no longer have the app, email us and we will do it for you.
Deleting the account removes everything our server holds about you. There is nothing about your child tied to your account to delete: your child's voice never leaves the phone (speech is turned into written words there and the audio is discarded at once), and nothing about your child is ever linked to who you are. The app's anonymous learning statistics name nobody, and deleting the account gives the app a new random id for them (Privacy Policy).
From the app
- Open Takdhin Kids and tap Grown-ups at the top right of the home screen.
- Enter your year of birth. (This is asked every time and never stored; it keeps children out of the grown-ups corner.)
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete my account.
- Confirm with Delete.
The account is erased from our server immediately and the phone forgets the sign-in. It cannot be undone. If the phone is offline, the app says so and nothing is deleted; try again when it is online.
By email
If you cannot use the app — you have uninstalled it, changed phones, or lost access to the sign-in — write to takdhinkids@gmail.com with the subject Delete my Takdhin Kids account. Send it from the email address you signed in with (Google, Apple or Microsoft), and say which of the three you used, so we can find the right account. We delete it within 30 days and reply to confirm. If you used Apple's Hide My Email, tell us the approximate date you first signed in instead, and we will work from that.
What is deleted
- Your account: which sign-in you used and that provider's account identifier, and the name and email the provider gave us.
- The date your free week started and today's question count.
- Your subscription record, and the link between your account and a purchase made in the App Store, in Google Play or on this website.
- Your sign-in session on the phone.
A subscription bought on this website is canceled at once as part of deleting the account, since there would be nowhere left to manage it; if you would rather use up the time already paid for, cancel it first from Manage subscription and delete the account when it ends. A subscription bought in the App Store or Google Play is not canceled by deleting the account — stores do not let us do that — so cancel it in the store's own subscription settings, before or after. Nothing more is charged once it is canceled.
What is kept, and for how long
- Server logs record an account identifier and nothing else, and are kept for one month.
- A note sent from the app's feedback form is not tied to an account, so deleting the account does not remove it. It is kept for up to a year, with the email address only if you chose to give one for a reply. To have a note removed sooner, email us at the address above and quote roughly when you sent it.
- Payment records for a subscription bought on this website are held by Stripe under its own policy, as the law on payment records requires. We never see the card. For a subscription bought in a store, the store holds the purchase history.
Nothing else is retained.
Signing out is not deleting
Sign out in the grown-ups corner only forgets the account on that phone; the account stays on our server so you can sign back in. Use Delete my account to remove it.
